Senior IT Engineer - Endpoint Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Endpoint Engineering platforms in Mexico (Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, SnipeIT, etc.)
• Design and implement features, APIs, and data flows connecting MDM, inventory, and internal platforms
• Create automations and self-service experiences to reduce manual work and ticket load
• Act as the DevOps owner for MX platforms, managing IaC (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines, and observability
• Manage daily health, performance, and SLOs of device fleets and endpoint platforms
• Lead incident response and drive high-quality post-mortems for the MX scope
• Partner with global security, finance, and HR teams to ensure consistent asset lifecycle processes
• Serve as the technical reference for regulatory bodies regarding systems and processes

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Strong experience administering macOS, Windows, and Linux in production
• Proficiency in a modern programming language (Python, Clojure, Go, or Java) and Shell scripting
• Experience designing and operating cloud-based services on AWS
• Strong DevOps fundamentals including Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, or SQL Server)
• Expertise in Apple-focused MDM solutions (Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager) and Zero Touch Deployment
• Experience with IT inventory/asset management platforms (SnipeIT, Jira Assets, ServiceNow)
• Native or near-native Spanish and fluent English
• Legal authorization to work in Mexico and residency in Mexico City

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
• Familiarity with Clojure microservices and Zero Trust architectures
• Relevant certifications in Linux, AWS, Jamf Pro, or security
• Experience with product and UX methodologies to improve internal user experience
