Senior IT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for manufacturing systems and equipment to ensure production uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting MES performance and Total Available Uptime (TAU).
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments, LAN/VLAN configurations, and firewall policies.
• Develop custom applications and automation tools using Python, .NET/C#, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Lead IT-driven cost reduction and process improvement projects within the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align IT capabilities with business needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and cybersecurity compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of IT support experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/VLAN setup and firewall configuration.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, .NET/C#, Go, Java, or JavaScript/Node.js.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).

• Experience with industrial automation systems and protocols.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices tailored for manufacturing environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced production setting.
