About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute risk-based IT and cybersecurity audits with a focus on cloud, AI, and modern technology risks
- Plan audit scope through process analysis, risk assessment, and control identification
- Evaluate cybersecurity governance, cloud security, identity access management, infrastructure security, and data protection controls
- Execute audit testing and maintain high-quality, well-documented workpapers
- Translate technical findings into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations for stakeholders
- Track and validate remediation efforts to ensure sustainable control improvements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, risk, or controls within a Big 4 firm or global organization
- Strong understanding of IT and cybersecurity risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, COBIT, COSO)
- Experience auditing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or SaaS
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM, PAM, SSO, MFA)
- Understanding of secure development practices including SDLC, Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISA
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts and the use of AI tools to enhance operational efficiency
