Senior IP Methodology and Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead deep technical RCCA and 8D investigations for complex, high-impact silicon IP quality issues and drive corrective actions through to resolution
• Improve and scale quality methods, standards, and engineering practices to enable predictable execution across teams
• Partner with design, applications, and program management stakeholders to resolve cross-functional quality challenges
• Mentor engineers through technical reviews, problem-solving discussions, and lessons learned to strengthen team capability
• Identify systemic quality risks early and drive cross-team actions before issues escalate
• Contribute to stronger design flows, quality systems, and operating practices to improve scalability

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS, PhD, or MBA) with 8+ years of experience in advanced technical roles across silicon, systems, or software
• Strong expertise in at least one core Silicon IP interface such as PHY, SerDes, DDR, HBM, or UCIe
• Proven experience leading RCCA and 8D investigations resulting in meaningful quality or process improvements
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, technically demanding environments
• Strong communication and influence skills to work effectively across engineering and stakeholder groups
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Confluence, and Jira for documentation and tracking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving improvements that span multiple teams, projects, or technology generations
• Experience building or improving repeatable engineering and quality practices
• Experience with automation, workflow digitization, or quality data analytics
