Senior iOS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade iOS applications and libraries for the Airwallex Mobile App
• Collaborate with internal business teams and product management to define requirements and technical specifications
• Serve as a core contributor owning the full-cycle product development process
• Work closely with Architects to refactor code and design for optimal maintainability, extensibility, and reusability
• Integrate best practices for protecting sensitive customer data and ensuring global regulatory compliance

Requirements

• BS / MS degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C
• Expert knowledge of iOS frameworks and the mobile ecosystem
• Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and architecture
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Experience maintaining automation pipelines for CI/CD and promoting high test coverage
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or strong understanding of the Android platform
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-growth engineering team
