Senior Investment Officer – CTS Global Advisory Lead

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the global strategic direction for CTS Advisory in alignment with IFC corporate priorities.
• Lead the design, refinement, and scaling of advisory products and platforms to ensure innovation and development impact.
• Support regional teams in originating, structuring, and delivering high-quality advisory engagements with financial institutions and corporates.
• Provide technical and quality assurance oversight across the global advisory portfolio.
• Strengthen integration between CTS advisory and investment operations to enhance pipeline development.
• Oversee portfolio performance, monitoring results, risks, and development impact.
• Lead knowledge management efforts and contribute to thought leadership through analytical work and market notes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Development, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of relevant professional experience, including substantial exposure to advisory services in trade finance, financial institutions, or supply chains.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-country advisory programs within a development finance institution or comparable organization.
• Strong expertise in trade finance, supply chain finance, SME finance, and development finance in emerging markets.
• Proven strategic thinking skills and the ability to translate strategy into operational results.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization.
• Fluency in English is required.
