Senior Inventory Planner

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of planners to coordinate aircraft spares, cabin materials, and tools for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Monitor spares availability and ensure timely procurement to support all maintenance activities.
• Optimize inventory levels by balancing investment between stock holding, pooling, and consignment contracts.
• Recommend stocking techniques for rotables, consumables, and tools to meet departmental KPIs.
• Identify surplus inventory and recommend appropriate disposal actions.
• Monitor shelf-life, scrap transactions, and spares discrepancies to implement corrective actions.
• Support spares requirements for new aircraft induction, return to service, and end-of-lease projects.
• Manage inventory holding reports, dashboards, and annual spend budgets for technical spares.
• Monitor spare support contracts to ensure contractual service levels are achieved.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or equivalent technical degree, or a minimum of 5 years in aviation inventory management.
• Proven track record in aircraft technical material planning, procurement, and supplier management.
• Experience in team management and leading planning functions.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Airbus fleet types including A320, A330, A350, and A380.
• Deep understanding of technical manuals such as IPC, ITEM, and MPD.
• Familiarity with RSPLs, W-Files, spare repair/warranty, and OEM support contracts (SSC/PSAA).
