Senior Inventory Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accuracy of inventory locations, including Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Customer Furnished Property (CFP)
• Serve as a primary resource for Government Property compliance, supporting FAR/DFARS requirements and audit readiness
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits to meet contractual and government requirements
• Manage complex inventory and materials functions, including shop order kitting, material requisitions, and shortage resolution
• Ensure material availability against program schedules and resolve supply gaps
• Drive continuous improvement efforts across inventory and material handling workflows
• Act as a technical expert in ERP/MRP systems and reporting tools like PIEE
• Mentor and train Property Administrators and support team development
• Provide input into team strategy, workload planning, and resource allocation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory administration, or property management in aerospace or defense
• Hands-on experience with Government Property regulations (FAR/DFARS)
• Experience with accountability and audit readiness for GFP/CFP
• Proven ability to operate independently as a subject matter expert
• Experience with program closeout procedures and property lifecycle requirements
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (IFS or similar preferred, PIEE ideal)
• US Citizenship required
