Senior International Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close activities for international subsidiaries, including accounts payable and payroll coordination
• Maintain accountability for subsidiary P&L and Balance Sheet accuracy, including account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Manage the intercompany accounting process, ensuring timely reconciliation across all entities
• Serve as the primary liaison with international third-party accounting providers
• Oversee compliance with international indirect tax and statutory filing requirements, such as VAT and import/export filings
• Support annual audits with both U.S. and international external auditors
• Leverage AI tools and agents to optimize accounting workflows and automate routine processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive general ledger or international accounting experience
• Experience working within multi-entity environments
• Expertise in intercompany accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
• Solid understanding of international indirect tax frameworks and compliance
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
