About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute the annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program, including process walkthroughs and testing of controls over key financial business processes.
- Plan and execute international and domestic audits of plants, distribution centers, and enterprise-wide business processes.
- Manage the execution of annual financial statement audits by partnering with external auditors and preparing complex substantive procedures.
- Assist in managing, training, and developing Internal Auditors through daily oversight, coaching, and mentoring.
- Work with management to understand business processes, resolve identified issues, and communicate audit findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Internal/External Audit or Accounting.
- Advanced understanding of general accounting, internal control testing, and manufacturing or retail industries.
- General knowledge of business processes and application controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel up to 15% for domestic and international assignments.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as MBA, CIA, or CPA.
- 3+ years of prior work experience from a Big 4 Firm or a similar large public company.
