Senior Internal Auditor

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, scoping, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Apply risk-based judgment to tailor audit procedures and focus on high-impact areas.
• Develop clear audit issues that articulate root causes, risks, and business impacts.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for audit stakeholders and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
• Provide guidance and informal coaching to staff auditors and review workpapers to ensure quality and professional standards.
• Contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of audit, accounting, or finance experience with at least 1 year of lead experience.
• OR Master's degree and 3 years of audit, accounting, or finance experience with at least 1 year of lead experience.
• OR 8 years of audit, accounting, or finance experience with at least 1 year of lead experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of internal audit, external audit, or risk advisory experience.
• Exposure to operational, financial, IT, or integrated audits.
• Experience working with senior or executive-level stakeholders.
• CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar professional certification (or currently in progress).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously.
