Senior Internal Auditor

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and scope of financial, operational, and compliance audits
• Identify and assess risks based on stakeholder inputs, reports, and analyses
• Prepare audit programs for predefined entities based on identified risks
• Identify weaknesses, perform root cause analysis, and convert findings into action plans
• Provide recommendations to improve management practices and risk control
• Monitor and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports including executive summaries, findings, risks, and recommendations
• Participate in the development and implementation of internal audit methodologies and tools

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in finance, economics, or accounting
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal or external audit within an international context
• Strong knowledge of IIA standards
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
• Ability to travel internationally for 2 consecutive weeks at a time

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification related to audit, accounting, or IT (e.g., CIA)
