Senior Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Interpret client needs and architectural direction to create cohesive interior design solutions.
• Lead design development through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and visual studies.
• Develop space planning, block planning, and adjacency diagrams in coordination with project programs.
• Conceptualize interior design from both functional and aesthetic perspectives, considering budget and client requirements.
• Utilize BIM technologies to develop three-dimensional models for construction documentation.
• Prepare and revise documentation across various project phases to support design intent.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of interior systems, materials, and FFE.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in design critiques and pin-ups.
• Apply building codes and accessibility standards to all design work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum of seven years of related professional experience.
• High proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards.
• Ability to manage time effectively to meet project budgets and schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• IIDA accreditation.
• Pursuing Interior Design Licensure.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP certification.
• Experience with Education, Science and Technology, or Workplace sectors.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Newforma, Bluebeam, or InDesign.
