About the role
Responsibilities
- Interpret client needs and architectural direction to create cohesive interior design solutions.
- Lead design development through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and visual studies.
- Develop space planning, block planning, and adjacency diagrams in coordination with project programs.
- Conceptualize interior design from both functional and aesthetic perspectives, considering budget and client requirements.
- Utilize BIM technologies to develop three-dimensional models for construction documentation.
- Prepare and revise documentation across various project phases to support design intent.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of interior systems, materials, and FFE.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in design critiques and pin-ups.
- Apply building codes and accessibility standards to all design work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years of related professional experience.
- High proficiency in Revit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards.
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet project budgets and schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- IIDA accreditation.
- Pursuing Interior Design Licensure.
- LEED Green Associate or LEED AP certification.
- Experience with Education, Science and Technology, or Workplace sectors.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Newforma, Bluebeam, or InDesign.
