Senior Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Manage design projects from concept to completion, overseeing a team to ensure brand consistency.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and visual presentations for client discussions.
• Create full drawing packs for construction, including technical and joinery drawings using Revit.
• Conduct space planning and test fit proposals for both client and KOFISI spaces.
• Research and select project materials, products, and styling elements.
• Coordinate with MEP specialists and other departments to ensure accurate project execution.
• Manage project timelines, provide regular updates to the Head of Design, and communicate progress to clients.
• Maintain accurate schedules for purchasing and manage relationships with South African suppliers.

Requirements

• Relevant Interior Design qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the interior design industry, preferably in hospitality or commercial design.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
• Experience in space planning for commercial office environments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel to various project locations as required.
