Senior Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Independently manage interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and timely delivery.
• Develop high-quality presentations and technical drawings, including 3D renderings, 2D plans, mood boards, and mock-ups.
• Lead the FF&E and procurement process by identifying appropriate furniture, fixtures, and materials that align with the design concept.
• Manage and mentor the ID department, including the 3D team and interns, providing training and performance management.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors to translate design briefs into actionable project requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers for civil and fit-out tenders to ensure cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
• Oversee project supervision both onsite and remotely to ensure design integrity and compliance.
• Maintain the materials library and stay updated on global industry trends to keep the studio competitive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 7+ years of professional experience, with a significant portion based within the UAE.
• Proven expertise in Luxury Residential, Hospitality, and Commercial interior design markets.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Sketchup, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong creative, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage teams.
• Excellent English reporting and writing skills.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Ability and flexibility to travel internationally as required by business needs.
