Senior Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities

• Guide and provide independent research on sensitive national security topics, focusing on foreign nuclear programs
• Lead complex analytic tasks and provide subject matter expertise to inform strategies and plans
• Provide scientific and technical direction to new program opportunities and research proposals
• Develop proposals for analytic papers, studies, and research topics
• Mentor staff across the organization and attract new talent
• Maintain required security in a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment
• Present analytic findings to sponsors and Intelligence Community (IC) stakeholders

Requirements

• Active DOE Q-level clearance or active Top-Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access
• Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Extensive experience working within the Intelligence Community (IC)
• Proven success conducting in-depth research and analytical assessments
• Expert-level communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel as necessary for stakeholder presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access
• Strong publication record in relevant national security issue areas
• Experience producing analytic products meeting IC tradecraft standards
• Experience managing and leading multidisciplinary project teams
• In-depth knowledge of Intelligence Community roles, organizations, and procedures
