Senior Integrations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations with partner platforms including herd management systems, financial tools, and compliance databases
• Act as the technical point of contact for integration partners from discovery through launch
• Build developer documentation, sandbox environments, and reference implementations
• Navigate regulatory and data-sharing landscapes across NZ, Australia, and the US
• Champion data quality at integration boundaries through validation, monitoring, and alerting
• Feed partner insights back into engineering and product teams to advocate for platform improvements

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining API integrations (REST, OAuth, webhooks, event-driven patterns)
• Proficiency in data modelling at system boundaries and schema mapping
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
• Experience with Go or similar backend stacks
• Ability to influence without authority and manage long-cycle technical partnerships
• Strong communication skills for interacting with partner CTOs and industry stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ag-tech or IoT domains
• Experience working where hardware meets software in real-world operations
