Senior Integration & Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate spacecraft by interpreting telemetry and sending commands during system tests
• Collaborate with design and systems engineers to define test plans and pass/fail criteria
• Mentor junior team members
• Interface with customers to scope payload testing
• Manage relationships with launch vehicle providers and contractual deliverables
• Assess integration risks and optimize vehicle build/test flows
• Own and maintain HITL table configuration and test racks
• Influence flight software design and in-house operator tools
• Support pre-launch activities at payload processing facilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, aerospace, mechanical, or computer engineering
• 5+ years of experience in integration, test, or automation engineering
• 3+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting spacecraft systems
• Experience with environmental testing (thermal vacuum, random vibration)
• Experience working in a clean room with ESD-sensitive equipment
• Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (PSU, Oscilloscope, DMM)
• Experience with HITL or Flatsat software verification testbeds
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in designing test architectures or automated test frameworks
• Proficiency in Python or Rust
• Experience with Linux systems
• Experience managing contractual interfaces
