Senior Integration and Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support design, manufacturing, modification, and testing of prototype and production vehicles
• Provide guidance during manufacturing and support end-of-line testing at manufacturing sites
• Perform troubleshooting on hardware, software, and electrical issues to enable vehicle operation
• Plan, document, and report on vehicle build and commissioning status
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders including hardware engineers and software developers
• Travel to OEM and partner sites to accomplish tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field with 4+ years experience (or Master's with 2+ years, or PhD)
• Ability to produce and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical designs
• Experience with vehicle prototyping and modification for driver assistance or autonomy
• Experience developing and executing procedures for sensor and compute system configuration
• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex systems
• Experience with vehicle manufacturing and new program launch support
• Ability to travel to Ford Manufacturing plants for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux operating environment
• Experience with automotive CAN and Ethernet communication protocols
• Experience with JIRA and other program management toolchains
