Senior Instrumentation Designer

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced drawing and modeling tasks for instrumentation in the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Infrastructure sectors
• Make responsible decisions regarding the course of drawing and modeling deliverables
• Provide technical supervision and guidance to junior designers within the discipline
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Maintain effective communication through the preparation of technical presentations and reports
• Utilize specialized design, analysis, and modeling tools to deliver high-quality technical data

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of experience as an Instrumentation Designer in the Oil & Gas or Refinery sectors
• Proven experience in production facilities (wells/injection) or process plants/refinery balance of plants
• Expertise in 3D modeling of field instrumentation, wiring, and control system interconnections
• Strong knowledge of control system architectures, including DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas, and telecommunications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and SmartPlant 3D
