Senior Instructor - Math

Responsibilities

• Teach the AoPS curriculum in dynamic, participation-oriented math classes.
• Manage all grading, administrative tasks, and office hours for assigned classes.
• Provide student and family support through regular meetings and on-demand advisory sessions.
• Support campus operations by assisting with grading for other instructors and directors.
• Model expert teaching practices through class observations and professional development sessions.
• Create and implement content-specific workshops for current and prospective students.
• Contribute to curriculum improvement discussions and feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (strongly preferred in education or a related field).
• Strong math content knowledge.
• At least 2 years of prior K-12 teaching experience (or 1 year with AoPS Academy).
• Legal authorization to work in the US (sponsorship is not available).
• Ability to work a nontraditional schedule, including evenings and weekends during the academic year.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree related to the subject area.
