Senior Instructor - Math

Responsibilities

• Teach the AoPS curriculum in dynamic, participation-oriented math classes.
• Manage all grading and administrative tasks for assigned classes.
• Provide student and family support through regular office hours and on-demand meetings.
• Mentor other instructors by modeling best teaching practices and participating in class observations.
• Assist Directors with professional development sessions and teacher training.
• Create and implement content-specific workshops for current and prospective students.
• Contribute to curriculum discussions and provide feedback for potential improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (strongly preferred in education or a related field).
• Strong content knowledge in mathematics.
• At least 2 years of prior K-12 teaching experience (or 1 year of experience with AoPS Academy).
• Legal authorization to work in the US (sponsorship is not available).
• Ability to work a nontraditional schedule, including evenings and weekends during the academic year.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree related to the subject area.
