Senior Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform complex inspection tasks and continuous surveillance of construction activities to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
• Verify that work is completed in accordance with contract specifications through detailed inspection activities and reporting.
• Conduct inspections within tunnel shafts, including environmental and safety inspections as work dictates.
• Manage inspection documentation and reporting, ensuring all activities are recorded accurately after shifts.
• Support various facets of construction including soils, concrete, mechanical, or electrical work.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related tunnel experience in heavy construction.
• Deep expertise in shafts and mechanical piping.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
• Familiarity with DEP E-Builder Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work various shifts, including overtime and Saturdays, depending on the contractor's schedule.
• Willingness to travel to or relocate to field sites.
