Senior Innovation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate prototypes using 3D modeling, simulation, and rapid prototyping tools
• Generate and refine product concepts in ambiguous problem spaces using structured ideation
• Translate field research and user observations into actionable engineering insights
• Perform engineering analysis to evaluate feasibility, performance, risk, and design tradeoffs
• Collaborate with product marketing, industrial design, and NPD engineering to push innovation boundaries
• Communicate design intent, technical tradeoffs, and progress clearly to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Mechatronics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in product development, innovation, or concept engineering
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals including mechanics, materials, analysis, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in CAD, analysis tools, 3D printing, and rapid prototyping methods
• Ability to travel 10-20% for domestic and international assignments
• Demonstrated ability to operate with speed and agility in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working specifically on front-end innovation teams
• High interest in professional tools of the trade and improving user workflows
