About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on injection molds, inserts, and tool plates
  • Set up, disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble precision molds and tooling components
  • Troubleshoot complex mold and tooling issues related to defects, low yield, flash, or dimensional variation
  • Measure and inspect critical mold components using precision measurement tools and microscopes
  • Maintain and repair mold bases, hot runner systems, cooling systems, and mechanical components
  • Support mold sampling, validation, and qualification activities in compliance with GxP and cleanroom requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to perform root cause investigations and process optimization
  • Maintain accurate documentation, maintenance records, and inspection data

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant experience in injection mold maintenance or tooling
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment following strict contamination control protocols

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or certification in injection molding, toolmaking, or precision engineering
  • Strong understanding of hot runners, cooling systems, and mold components
  • Experience with basic molding machine and process fault troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with mold flow analysis concepts
