Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying test automation software to a distributed fleet of testbeds
• Develop and manage infrastructure for testbed provisioning, remote management, and monitoring
• Contribute to testbed design and hardware selection decisions
• Implement and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and observability
• Serve as the infrastructure subject-matter expert and liaison to SRE and DevOps teams
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to deliver scalable solutions
• Solve complex infrastructure problems considering cost, quality, and speed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux system administration
• Strong programming experience in Python or Go
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible and provisioning tools like iPXE

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing infrastructure for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing or electronics labs
• Experience managing software at remote or third-party sites
• Cloud development experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with cross-platform deployment (Linux, Windows)
• Experience with bare-metal provisioning (PXE, Kickstart, or Preseed)
• Experience with monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Knowledge of gRPC, MQTT, or other message brokers
