Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance of on-prem and cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Manage and optimize hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)
• Govern infrastructure as code using Terraform or Pulumi
• Manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, BGP/OSPF, and VLAN environments
• Administer DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
• Administer virtualized environments (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Manage Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server operating systems
• Maintain observability tooling like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
• Participate in on-call rotation and disaster recovery planning
• Drive automation to reduce toil and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in infrastructure or network engineering
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or Fortinet)
• Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience managing Linux and Windows Server in production
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network, compute, and storage layers
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
• Experience with SD-WAN platforms (Meraki, Viptela, VeloCloud)
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with zero-trust network architecture
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect, AZ-104, or CKA
