Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for fast, safe releases.
• Own infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi) for cloud resources across AWS and Cloudflare.
• Build and improve observability systems, including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Develop internal tooling and automation to eliminate toil and accelerate developer workflows.
• Drive reliability improvements through capacity planning, failure mode analysis, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with product engineers to ensure systems are operationally sound and maintainable.
• Contribute to security and compliance initiatives within a regulated fintech environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Deep experience with AWS core services (compute, networking, IAM, databases, and storage).
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi) and CI/CD systems.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and container orchestration.
• Experience building and operating observability stacks to diagnose production issues.
• Familiarity with failure modes in distributed systems and mitigation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries such as fintech or healthcare.
• Familiarity with ML pipeline orchestration.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• Experience with on-call rotations and incident response in high-stakes environments.
