Senior Infrastructure BIM Modeler

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage high-quality BIM models for infrastructure utilities and roads projects using Civil3D
• Prepare coordinated utility models including wet and dry utilities, roads, grading, and landscape
• Review and check the work of BIM Modellers and Junior BIM staff, providing technical guidance
• Support the BIM Coordinator in model maintenance, clash detection, and data management
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings to resolve multidisciplinary clashes and issues
• Ensure all modelling outputs comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, and naming conventions
• Produce model-based deliverables including plans, profiles, sections, schedules, and coordination drawings
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to BIM process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 4–6 years of experience in BIM modeling specifically for infrastructure utilities projects
• Proven experience in roads, utilities, and masterplan infrastructure developments
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D for infrastructure and utilities modelling
• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and coordination
• Working knowledge of Revit for multidisciplinary coordination purposes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM 360 / ACC
• Strong understanding of utility corridors, roads coordination, and multidisciplinary infrastructure requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on infrastructure projects in the Middle East
• Familiarity with Dynamo scripting and BIM automation workflows
