Senior Infosec Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain system hardening standards across diverse Linux distributions.
• Create and manage security analytics platforms using Elasticsearch and build actionable Kibana dashboards.
• Automate repetitive security tasks using Python, Bash, or Rust and manage Ansible playbooks.
• Conceptualize and build bespoke security tooling to address specific Infosec requirements.
• Conduct penetration tests across web applications, mobile apps, and infrastructure.
• Identify, validate, and track vulnerabilities at scale, working closely with engineering teams for remediation.
• Analyze network traffic, application logs, and auditd events to detect anomalies and support investigations.
• Manage Nginx configurations and assist with WAF rule tuning on Akamai or Cloudflare.
• Participate in on-call rotations for security incident triage and response.

Requirements

• 5+ years of deep hands-on experience in Linux security, including system administration and hardening.
• Strong working knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Proficiency in shell scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
• Hands-on exposure to OWASP Top 10 and proficiency with tools like Burp Suite or Nessus.
• Thorough understanding of network protocols, cyber risks, and REST APIs.
• Expertise in Nginx and experience with WAF operations (Akamai or Cloudflare).
• Strong communication skills to translate technical findings for engineering and executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Rust or Go development.
• Familiarity with BFSI regulatory frameworks such as RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, or ISO 27001.
• Relevant industry certifications such as OSCP, RHCE, CCNP, or CISSP.
