Senior Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development and submission of authorization artifacts required for IL7 Cloud Authority to Operate (ATO)
• Ensure full compliance with DoD RMF, DISA SRG, and IC/DoD IL7 requirements
• Manage cybersecurity assessment and authorization (A&A) activities for IT hardware, software, and connectivity
• Maintain system accreditation status in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 (RMF) through scanning, auditing, and documentation
• Perform analysis, design, and integration for complex software applications and collaboration infrastructures
• Participate in the change management process and assess the security impact of proposed changes
• Create and maintain implementation design documentation, SOPs, and guidance on Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M)

Requirements

• BS degree in information systems or a related technical field
• 10+ years of technical experience in cybersecurity or information technology
• CISSP certification
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Proficiency with common operating systems including Windows, Linux/Unix, and Cisco IOS/NX-OS
• Extensive knowledge of Cloud security standards
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or PhD degree in a technical field
• 9+ years of IT/security-related experience with recent ISSM experience
• Knowledge of software development in Java, Python, Ruby, or C++
• Linux expertise, specifically RedHat/RHEL or CentOS
• Experience with software scanning and static code analysis tools (e.g., Fortify, SonarQube)
• Experience with cloud and container security tools
