Responsibilities

• Design and implement zero-trust security architectures and identity-first access controls
• Build data protection systems including field-level encryption and cryptographic key management
• Architect hybrid cloud security for AWS-to-datacenter connectivity
• Design SIEM and detection systems with logging strategies for legal evidence
• Maintain next-gen firewalls and security observability
• Own end-to-end vulnerability management and incident response
• Lead disaster recovery drills and regulatory notifications
• Partner with Application and Infrastructure teams to support SecOps requirements
• Balance security and product velocity through pragmatic risk acceptance

Requirements

• 7+ years in production AWS security for regulated or financial services environments
• Proven PCI-DSS or financial regulatory compliance implementation experience
• Hands-on incident response and DR drill leadership experience
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments building security programs
• Deep expertise in encryption architecture and key management systems
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification
• PCI-DSS (QSA, ISA, or P2PE certification)
