Senior Information Governance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Drive awareness and compliance regarding data classification, transfer, collection, and retention for Client and Firm materials
• Assist the Information Governance Manager in executing the IG framework, policies, and standards
• Provide expertise to IG and Records staff on the implementation of procedures and standards
• Identify and advance automation opportunities to improve the efficiency of day-to-day IG operational processes
• Collaborate with data owners to align business goals with the information governance program
• Participate with the security team in data loss prevention (DLP) initiatives and technical solution management
• Refine and maintain data mapping processes and develop enterprise information management guidelines
• Assist with data management regarding vendor controls and firm data integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in information governance or a similar field
• Ability to communicate and document complex technical issues for non-technical audiences
• Experience working within established Information Governance programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working within a law firm environment
• IT background with exposure to Active Directory and other access control tools
• Hands-on experience with Varonis
