Senior Industry Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead technical due diligence for transport projects, including design, capex, opex, and implementation risk assessment.
• Translate technical findings into implications for financial viability, risk allocation, and project structuring.
• Review contractual frameworks such as EPC, O&M, and concession agreements to ensure alignment with investor requirements.
• Support pipeline development by screening opportunities and engaging with governments, sponsors, and operators to create bankable pathways.
• Advise public sector counterparts on designing regulatory frameworks and project structures that attract private capital.
• Identify regulatory and institutional bottlenecks and propose practical reforms to enhance project bankability.
• Monitor portfolio performance and capture lessons learned to develop repeatable models for private capital mobilization.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering (transport, civil, or a related field); an advanced degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of professional experience combining technical project work with exposure to private sector investment or PPP environments.
• Demonstrated ability to connect technical, regulatory, and commercial dimensions of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of PPP/concession frameworks and the policy constraints affecting private sector participation.
• Proven experience engaging with both public sector stakeholders and private investors or operators.
• Fluency in English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
