Senior Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial engineering concepts and techniques to products, processes, and services to meet program requirements
• Support the development of plant layouts, equipment layouts, capacity plans, and workflows
• Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating design, supply base, facilities, and personnel
• Conduct workflow design and analysis to improve schedule performance, lower costs, and improve quality
• Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to provide data analysis and metrics for leadership consultation
• Lead implementation plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods
• Document work instructions and standardize work practices
• Lead metrics and improvement plans related to productivity, efficiency, and first-time quality using Lean+ and 5S methodologies

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
• 14 or more years of experience in Industrial Engineering or a similar role (e.g., Production or Manufacturing Engineering)

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree specifically in Industrial Engineering
• Experience in test laboratory operations
• Experience with project management
• An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
