Senior Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions for new products and processes, contributing to strategic roadmaps for factory capacity and infrastructure.
• Analyze manufacturing system performance using Industrial Engineering tools to identify improvement opportunities.
• Determine equipment, facilities, and support requirements for new products and processes.
• Provide detailed factory and line layouts using AutoCAD, supporting the planning and implementation of new areas.
• Optimize assembly lines through workflow analysis, time and motion studies, ergonomics, and human factors analysis.
• Utilize simulation tools, value stream mapping, PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles to analyze requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and design groups to ensure product producibility and effective transition to manufacture.
• Provide labor estimating for electronic, cable, or mechanical assemblies.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering science (e.g., Industrial, Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Systems Engineering) or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or simulation modeling tools.
• Strong mathematical and statistical analysis skills, including SPC, modeling, and queuing theory.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to represent the company to both internal and external customers.
• Strong understanding of cost drivers in project setup, development, and manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant Industrial Engineering experience with extensive knowledge of industry tools and methods.
• Experience in developing, planning, costing, and implementing new processes or facility expansions.
• Knowledge of SMT, units, and box build, including supply chain and material handling requirements.
• Ability to mentor or lead other engineers and projects.
• Experience with simulation tools such as Witness or similar software.
