Senior Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable manufacturing processes and workflows for disposables and capital robotic systems
• Own project management for all facility and IE-related initiatives including scope, schedules, and budgets
• Lead planning, design, and build-out of new manufacturing production facilities
• Conduct line balancing, cycle time analysis, and capacity planning
• Perform workflow and value-stream mapping to eliminate bottlenecks
• Define and validate manufacturing processes in accordance with FDA/ISO requirements (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Lead 6S/Lean transformation efforts and establish continuous improvement metrics
• Specify, procure, and integrate capital equipment and material handling systems
• Maintain engineering databases (WIPs, routings, BOMs) in NetSuite
• Develop AutoCAD/Revit facility drawings and maintain layouts
• Mentor junior Industrial Engineers

Requirements

• BS or MS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
• 7+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering
• At least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity
• Experience leading the build-out or expansion of a manufacturing facility
• Formal project management experience (PMP or equivalent)
• Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar scheduling tools
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks
• Deep knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles (Kanban, Kaizen, 6S)
• Experience with medical device regulations (FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with process validation methodology (IQ/OQ/PQ)
