Senior Industrial Engineer

About the Company

Mytra is creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for the $1T supply chain market.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy manufacturing equipment and processes for robotic hardware
• Calculate, simulate, and test factory flow at scale
• Plan and design manufacturing layouts and facilities for assembly and fabrication
• Develop and deploy workflows for a manufacturing execution system (MES)
• Oversee procurement and installation of new equipment
• Troubleshoot production issues to achieve scaled ramp
• Champion DFx projects to enhance assembly efficiency
• Work with suppliers on manufacturing technologies like stamping, welding, and plastics processing

Requirements

• 7+ years of practical manufacturing experience
• Expertise in design for manufacturing (mechanical, electrical, and robotics integration)
• Experience designing and deploying semi-automated assembly lines
• Proficiency with CAD software (OnShape, Creo, AutoCAD, FlexSim, or Tecnomatix)
• Strong project management and data analysis skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Experience bringing a product from concept to mass-production
• Experience laying out a factory from scratch
• Lean or Six Sigma professional certification
