Senior Industrial Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Model factory operations by generating process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings
• Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints to maximize efficiency
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals
• Influence factory roadmaps and investment strategies by drafting infrastructure improvement and expansion proposals
• Work with cross-functional teams to execute projects addressing obsolescence and factory performance
• Support new production contract proposals and new product integration efforts
• Improve factory safety and work cell ergonomics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred) and 5+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in industrial engineering methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Modeling, Facility Design, or Process Optimization
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with factory layout, work cell design, and optimization
• Experience with simulation modeling and capacity analysis tools
• Proficiency with CAD software
• Six Sigma certifications
• Experience leading teams and influencing without authority
