Senior Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support plant manufacturing through line speed calculations, throughput evaluation, and capacity analysis
• Monitor and report metrics for all plant production areas, including OEE, distress, and scrap
• Drive Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma initiatives, including Shingo progress and certification
• Coach and mentor Green Belt teams on the application of Lean Six Sigma tools
• Facilitate project charters and Kaizen events with internal and external customers
• Solve complex problems using PDCA, A3, and Why-Why methodologies
• Provide Capital and CIP Project support regarding material loss, labor, and throughput changes
• Manage the employee idea program and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Knowledge of operational analytics applications, such as SEEQ
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Power BI
• Technical expertise in infant formula or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing
