Aalo Atomics is pioneering a new era in clean energy with factory-fabricated reactors designed to deliver affordable, scalable, and reliable nuclear power. Based in Austin, TX, we’re rapidly growing as we work to deploy the world’s first fleet of advanced microreactors.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize reactor manufacturing lines using value-stream analysis and simulations
• Develop and deploy discrete-event simulation models integrating component, material, and people flow
• Validate design choices for new factories and optimize process/material flow layouts
• Analyze production assumptions like yield, line speed, and cycle time to identify bottlenecks
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including production technicians, architects, and construction managers
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles while ensuring compliance with nuclear quality requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with discrete-event simulation software (FlexSim, AnyLogic, Arena, or Simio)
• Experience with data-driven process layout or production line design
• Must be based in the United States and willing to work on-site in Austin, Texas
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person in compliance with 10 CFR Part 810

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear, aerospace, or automotive industries
• Skills in SQL, Python, and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with CAD/BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Familiarity with nuclear quality standards (NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B)
• Knowledge of A3, 8D, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
