Senior Indirect Tax Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support indirect tax and other recurring tax processes within established deadlines
• Prepare and review tax workpapers, filings, and supporting documentation for state and local tax requirements
• Analyze financial data, general ledger activity, and source documentation to support tax reporting, reconciliations, and audits
• Assist with tax audits, notices, and information requests by preparing responses and tracking deliverables
• Research tax laws, regulations, and technical guidance to support filing positions
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and Legal teams to validate data and address tax-related issues
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, strengthen documentation, and enhance accuracy through stronger controls

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in indirect tax and/or a similar discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Co-Pilot)
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP/billing systems
• Knowledge of indirect tax software solutions such as Vertex, Sovos, or similar tools
