Senior Implementation Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of new clients across pharmacy and medical benefits, ensuring accurate and seamless onboarding.
• Develop and execute strategic implementation plans for PBM, medical, and integrated benefit clients, including complex enterprise accounts.
• Serve as the primary client lead, managing communications, setting expectations, and delivering executive-level presentations.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and execution challenges, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Interpret self-funded plan SPDs to extract key information necessary for configuring claim adjudication platforms.
• Partner with Sales and Account Management to ensure alignment between client needs and contractual obligations during the hand-off process.
• Support business development efforts, including RFP responses and finalist meetings.
• Mentor team members and provide guidance to strengthen team capabilities and delivery consistency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM), regional/national health plans, or third-party administrator (TPA) implementation.
• Deep understanding of medical plan administration, including networks, tiering, and cost-share differentiation.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacy plan types such as PPO, POS, EPO, HDHP, and spending accounts (HSA/HRA).
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple complex, long-term projects.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with virtual teams.
• Ability to travel 5–10%.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Prior experience using Salesforce.
