Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HL7 and FHIR interfaces with customer systems
• Lead the standardization of interfaces across products and create documentation
• Provide technical expertise and guidance during product implementation
• Monitor and alert on interface health
• Test and troubleshoot HL7 and FHIR implementations
• Facilitate end-to-end implementation testing with customers
• Collaborate with Developers and Engineers to improve integration methods
• Provide advanced technical customer support after go-live
• Mentor teammates in HL7 and FHIR best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HL7 v2 interfacing
• Technical background including reading logs, source code, and querying DBs using SQL
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Python
• Strong understanding of the Healthcare IT ecosystem
• Strong attention to detail in testing and validating data mappings
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customer IT and end users

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of radiology workflow
• Experience with FHIR
• Experience in a healthcare startup
