About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted resource for foreign national employees and candidates, providing guidance on immigration processes and timelines.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of employment-based immigration matters handled by external counsel.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between employees, business units, HR partners, and external immigration counsel.
  • Review case strategies, timelines, and deliverables to identify risks or inconsistencies.
  • Review and approve filings and supporting documentation prior to submission to government agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS, DOL, DOS, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess potential impacts to business operations and mobility programs.
  • Track and report key metrics such as case volume, timelines, and costs to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of corporate immigration experience (in-house and/or law firm).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S., Canadian, and global employment-based immigration programs.
  • Experience partnering with outside immigration counsel.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Paralegal certification.
  • Experience in a large or complex organization.
  • Familiarity with immigration case management systems.
  • Experience supporting audit or compliance activities.
