Senior-II Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and execution of validation strategies and test plans aligned with product requirements and market needs
• Perform lab-based validation, including design bring-up, characterization, and interoperability testing for high-speed connectivity devices
• Review, analyze, and communicate validation results, debug findings, and recommendations to stakeholders
• Contribute to the specification and design of test environments, including software, lab equipment, and test board requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Verification, Applications, Marketing, and Product Engineering
• Manage cross-functional debug and root-cause discussions using JIRA-based workflows
• Support customer issue reproduction and escalations in collaboration with Field Engineering teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in high-speed digital, analog/mixed-signal, systems design/testing, or Power IC design/test
• Strong working knowledge of electronics lab equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Protocol Analyzers
• Proven experience working within cross-functional teams and complex projects
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative group environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-speed connectivity protocols including Ethernet, USB (2.0/3.x), or PCI-Express
• Experience reviewing schematics and layouts for silicon validation or reference boards
• Proficiency in Python-based automation for validation, data analysis, or lab equipment control
• Exposure to IC device characterization and silicon performance analysis
