Senior II Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of quality through design reviews, code reviews, test strategy, and production readiness
• Partner cross-functionally with product and design to shape solutions and clarify tradeoffs
• Architect small, composable, and resilient full-stack, frontend-leaning systems
• Enforce architectural and operational quality in AI-assisted development environments
• Champion functional programming principles and immutability
• Lead AI-assisted development using agents for prototyping and refactoring while maintaining high correctness
• Build and maintain automated test suites including unit, integration, component, and end-to-end coverage

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience building production web applications
• 1+ years of experience as a principal engineer
• Expert-level proficiency with TypeScript and React
• Strong experience with server-side rendered Next.js or similar frameworks
• Experience with component-driven development
• Advanced knowledge of the testing pyramid and automated testing
• Proven technical leadership through mentorship and code reviews
• Hands-on experience with AI-augmented IDEs like Cursor
• Deep understanding of functional programming and immutability
