Senior IAM Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, implementation, and development of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program with a focus on security and automation.
• Design and manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Secrets Management solutions using tools like CyberArk, Delinea, or HashiCorp.
• Define and maintain user access security models, enforcing least-privilege principles and RBAC/ABAC designs.
• Manage the full certificate lifecycle (TLS/SSL) and build automated renewal pipelines to prevent outages.
• Administer enterprise SSO and MFA platforms, including Okta, and onboard new applications via SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
• Build and maintain provisioning integrations (SCIM, API, directory-based) connecting HR systems and Active Directory.
• Develop strategy roadmaps and enterprise-wide standards for IAM systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM engineering or a related security role.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing complex IAM and PAM solutions.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and Identity Providers (IdPs).
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Security Certifications.
• Experience with Zero Trust Security architectures.
• Knowledge of emerging authorization mechanisms like Zanzibar/ReBAC.
• Experience with CIEM, ITDR, and IGA platforms.
