About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical competence, work scheduling, and research programs in laboratory and pilot plant settings
- Manage client relationships, communications, and project requirements for successful delivery
- Establish and control project budgets and manage billing processes
- Prepare technical and financial project proposals
- Implement project management methodologies for planning and control of pilot plant campaigns
- Supervise the setup of laboratory and pilot plant equipment and circuits
- Train technical staff on professional tasks, safety procedures, and company policies
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Hydrometallurgy, Mining Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- 8 to 10 years of professional experience in a mineral-related field
- Proven experience in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, or gold extraction
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Experience in technical report writing and managing technical teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
