Senior Hydrometallurgist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical competence, work scheduling, and research programs in laboratory and pilot plant settings
• Manage client relationships, communications, and project requirements for successful delivery
• Establish and control project budgets and manage billing processes
• Prepare technical and financial project proposals
• Implement project management methodologies for planning and control of pilot plant campaigns
• Supervise the setup of laboratory and pilot plant equipment and circuits
• Train technical staff on professional tasks, safety procedures, and company policies
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Hydrometallurgy, Mining Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
• 8 to 10 years of professional experience in a mineral-related field
• Proven experience in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, or gold extraction
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Experience in technical report writing and managing technical teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
