Senior HW/SW Integration Engineer Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead Hardware / Software Subsystem integration activities at the vehicle level
• Coordinate across various SW/HW teams including FPGA, Flight Software, and Simulation
• Drive completion of unresolved system level HW/SW interfaces and changes
• Drive completion of subsystem level interface documents and models
• Support interface documentation reviews including internal, SDRL, and CDRL
• Focus on test labs and hands-on successful integration and V&V activities
• Drive progress and solve deficiencies in hardware simulation and fidelity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline or related experience
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering
• Experience with I&T integration and test
• Experience developing and executing system-level and HIL test procedures
• Understanding of requirements verification and validation processes
• Experience troubleshooting integrated HW/SW systems in a lab environment
• Active Secret Clearance Required
• Ability to work onsite 100% in Huntsville, AL
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket)
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring junior engineers
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
• Familiarity with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo or AADL
• Experience with Signal Processing Implementation
